As as precursor to the 2019 Sustainable Futures Convention to be held in Gloucester in late March, presenters Ann Porcino from Australia reMade and Gloucester's Kerry Hartigan are running workshops to find out what people view as important in relation to a sustainable future.

Referred to as the Big Convo, the first session will be held during the afternoon of Wednesday February 27 with Gloucester High School students, with the second session open to the wider community being held that evening from 7pm to 9pm. Both sessions will take place in the school and have been designed to get the thoughts and ideas of members of the community, across a range of ages, about how to create 'the best version of us'. The concept is directly linked to the Australia reMade organisation, whose vision is to ignite inspiration, conversation and the possibility of a future for Australia people can be excited to create.

Participants will be encouraged to imagine the best possible future for Australia and brainstorm ways of working towards making it happen. These ideas will then be collated and brought into the conversations held during the 2019 Sustainable Futures Convention. The convention runs from Saturday March 30 and 31, with numerous workshops held across the weekend.
