Bert Newman Trophy Day 4BBB
On an exceedingly hot day, there were only 16 starters – four of whom opted to play just nine holes (very sensible!). The winning team was Sally Higgins and Mark Howland on 48 points and the runners up were Bert Newman and Phil Hawkins on 43 points, with Bruce Fraser and Denver Webb also on 43 points. The individual winner, with a terrific 40 points, was Sally Higgins. NTP on 4/13 was Bert Newman and, guess who?, Sally Higgins for the ladies. Stayers award went to the pairing of Noel Cooke and welcome regular visitor, Peter Wildblood (Taree).

Ladies to supply morning tea after golf.
