Yates Family Trophy Day
On Saturday members played a stableford event for the Yates Family Trophy day. The members thank all the sponsors whom continue to support our club every weekend. The winners on the day were Crack McLeod in A grade with 38 pts, B Fraser in B grade with 34 pts on a countback and R Paff in C grade also with 34 pts. The NTPs went to J Andrews in A grade, R Moore in B grade, P Patterson in C grade and the long drive went to The Duck. The ball comp went down to 34 also on a countback. This weekend is the Monthly Stroke/Medal round for Arkwood as usual, it will also be the annual Mug of Mugs playoff so all players that have won the monthly mug last year are eligible to play. I hope to see you all out there on Saturday. The following weekend is the annual Hello World stableford event. Don't forget that on the 23rd of next month we will play the annual Tom Blundell memorial day which will be a 4 man ambrose with a 10:30am shotgun start. David & Margaret Collett Trophy
Bruce Fraser won the day with a solid score of 40 points. He was followed by Joost Werz and Tony Burnet each with 36 points, then Peter Buettel, Derek Bardwell, Mark Howland and Bill Murray all on 34 points. Nearest the pins went to Ele Fraser and Tony Burnet on 4/13, and to Peter McIntyre on 6/15.

12 Hole Stableford
Wednesday was a cooler day which made it more pleasant for golf and the course is starting to green up a little after the much needed rain. The 12 Holes Stableford event won once again by Moyà Harris who had 28 points, congratulations Moyà. Ball winners were Rhonda Nightingale 27 points, Margaret Dunn 24 and Ann Mullen on 23 points. NTP 4th/13th Ev Blanch. Next week is the start of our 18 Hole Winter competition, Opening Day will be a 4-Ball Aggregate Stableford which is to be sponsored by Perenti’s.
