According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the rest of Friday March 22 should see maximum temperatures of 29 degrees and a shower or two. Partly cloudy skies with a 50 per cent chance of rain most likely during this afternoon and early evening. There is a chance of a thunderstorm during the afternoon and evening with light winds.
Temperatures will start to creep up on Saturday March 23, with temperatures to reach 33 degrees with mostly sunny skies. There is a slight chance of showers, and a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening with light winds.
Sunday March 24 should see a maximum temperature of 36 degrees under partly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance of a shower in the morning and afternoon, as well as the chance of a thunderstorm. The light winds will continue.
The Bureau of Meteorology recommends sun protection between 9.30am and 4pm with the UV Index predicted to reach very high.
