"The Saturday and Sunday program gave the Show Society the results we were hoping to achieve," Wingham Show Society committee member, Elaine Turner said.
The Beef Cattle Program ran smoothly under the watchful eye of newly appointed steward Yan Kleynhans. The Cattle Pavilion was filled with 70 head of cattle and 109 participants.
"The high standard of cattle on show was a real testament to the cattle producers, schools and individual entrants of their commitment after facing the recent tough drought conditions," Elaine said.
The Sunday program included show jumping and Funkhana. The little showstopper was the fancy dress event with riders and horses dressing to impress the judges.
The poultry section swelled to capacity with more than 220 entrants this year.
Glen Squires, the new poultry steward who was assisted by past poultry steward, Irene Hannan, was thrilled with the result.
Working tirelessly in the lead up to the Show, hall steward Megan Bailie-Mace, along with her section stewards, gave visitors a chance to see an outstanding range of handmade items and displays of local skills.
The dog show, an ever popular event, saw 340 entrants vying for points to go onto the Royal Easter Show.
Show Society president Ian Murray couldn't be more thrilled with the incredible efforts of all the volunteers, members, judges and section stewards who assisted in making the show such a success.
Our gate numbers over the two day show, of approximately 4000 visitors, was a great reflection of how a community can come together to support their local Wingham Show.

"Our gate numbers over the two day show, of approximately 4000 visitors, was a great reflection of how a community can come together to support their local Wingham Show."
"Overall, our sections achieved terrific results, with many having an increase in entries over last year. The Dog Show had one of the best results for many years," Ian said.
"A big thank you to all our volunteers, stewards, judges, sponsors, community groups, Show Society members and the community for helping us make the 2019 show a success," Elaine said.
"I want to make special mention of the incredible commitment of our show secretary Susan Harris. In her first year of being our secretary, Sue has worked tirelessly to ensure the Show went smoothly with the ongoing co-ordination of events."
Plans are already underway for next year's 135th Wingham Show.
