The Lansdowne Community Hall is running its inaugural Art Exhibition over the weekend of May 4-5, 2019.

There will be prizes for juniors aged seven years and under, 8-12 years, 13-18 years, and senior.
Entries for the junior and youth sections can be any subject and in any medium. Entry fee for a work submitted to the junior section is $2, and $3 for youth entries.
The senior section should be a local scene in any medium or style depicting the Manning Valley or Great Lakes. There is also a senior section for equine artists in any medium or style, featuring work with a horse/horses.
Paper tole entries will also be accepted into the exhibition in the above themes for the senior art sections.
Entry fee for senior section s $5 per entry with a maximum of three entries.
Size restriction is 80cm x 80cm, framed or on stretched canvas ready to hang. Works are to be dated no earlier than 2018.
All works entered into the exhibition will be placed on sale. If sold 20 per cent commission will go to the Lansdowne Hall Committee.
Judging will be by People's Choice.
Entries close on Friday April 19 at 5pm, and works are to be delivered to the Lansdowne Community Hall, 27 Cundle Road, Lansdowne on Wednesday May 1, 10am to 3pm. After the exhibition works are to be collected by 3pm, Sunday May 5.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, May 4 at 10am - 4.00 pm, and Sunday 10am - 3pm. Entry to view exhibition is by gold coin.
Light refreshments will be available from the hall kitchen.
Local musician Heath Harris will be entertaining for the weekend.
