Lane Edwards, Cody Howard and Kayden Schumann worked tirelessly up front only to have their attempts thwarted by the opposition's defensive line and Tigers' talented keeper. A tight battle ensued for the entire first half with neither team able to find the net until the Tigers snuck one in just at the half-time whistle.

Isaac McClure, Hayden Reid and Tristyn Beard were kept busy in the backline trying to control the Tigers' breakaways. Some superb saves were made by Josh Anniwell in goals during the second half, with numerous headers and high balls sent his way. Teamwork of Kayden Schumann and Kelly Groves was unlucky not to find the back of the net, despite the countless attacks and pressure they made up front.

Gloucester Soldiers men's team also fought hard on Saturday, and with no fresh legs on their bench due to various injuries within the team. Wallamba Football Club fronted with five fresh subs for the day. Gloucester soldiered on throughout the game against the tough Wallamba side, and are now beginning to find their feet with their new additions to the team. Frank Ostlund scored Gloucester's only goal, and also narrowly missed one which could have resulted in a draw. A very close match this week with Wallamba taking the points, 2-1.
