Outdoor Solutions Stableford
On Saturday members played a stableford event for trophies kindly donated by Outdoor Solutions and a very unique trophy they are. The winners on the day were P Blanch with a par round of 38 pts, in A Grade, T Dare on a countback from J McLeod with 39 pts and B Newman also on a 3 way countback with 36 pts in C Grade. The NTPs went to P Blanch in A Grade, J McLeod in B Grade, G Cobbing in C Grade and the long drive was won by Garlo. The ball comp went down to 35 pts. This weekend will be a 2B aggregate event for trophies donated by Town and Country. Don't forget to get your names in for the 2BBB Derro's annual matchplay as nominations close on the 27th of this month. The club championships will be played on the 4th and 5th of May with the final round being played on the 11th, so get your names down to be a part of our club's major event for the year. Dave & Chris Robinson Trophy Day
Veterans
Tuesday the 9th of April saw sixteen Vets - all men, no ladies! - turn out for the Robbo's Trophy, 4BBB and individual, with one group also competing in a first round match for the Radford Webb KO shield. Individual winner on the day with an excellent 38pts was the Captain, Bill Murray; 4BBB winners on 44pts were Mark Stone and Graham Hjorth, well done both of you. With 42pts balls went to Tony Burnet and Rick Paff, and Jim Dunn and Bill Murray. Nobody managed to win the 4/13 NTP (no ladies you see!!) and Phil Hawkins claimed the 6/15 NTP. In the RadfordWebb KO match, Ian Maggs and Keith Whitby were pipped at the post by David Hjorth and Phil Hawkins. David and Phil's next round opponents have yet to be decided. The Stayers award today went to Col Roser and Bob Kirkup. Next week will be Graham and Margaret Hjorth's Trophy day, an individual Stableford.

Ladies
Wednesday was a beautiful day for golf and the scores were much better this week.Effie Crawley and Betty Freeman were the sponsors for the day, thank you both for your continued support and we were sorry Betty couldn't make it to presentation, maybe she will join us another day. Ev Blanch was the Medal winner having a nice round of 38 points, runner up with another good score was Dale Rabbett with 36 points. Ball comp Val Smith 33, Alison Windeyer 32, Cheryl Goodrich 30 and Ann Mullen also with 30 points. NTP 4th@13th Rhonda Nightingale 6th@15th Div1, Ev Blanch, Div2, Cheryl Goodrich and Effie Crawley was Div 3 winner. Last Thursday we had a number of ladies represent our club at Bulahdelah, I believe the course was quite damp unlike ours. Three players brought home trophies, Gai Randall accurate drive in Division 1, Rhonda Nightingale accurate drive Division 3 and Margaret Dunn NTP. Everyone enjoyed the day. Next weeks event is a Stableford sponsored by Tracy's Salon and we will be starting at 8:30am. On Sunday 19th it is our Annual Mixed Classic, get your team together 2 men and 2 women for a team, names to Margaret Dunn.
