Letter to editor
Thursday evening I attended meet the candidates evening run by the Rotary Club of Gloucester. Looking around the room there were about 35 people attending. Seven of the nine candidates running for the Lyne electorate attended.
They each spoke for five minutes about they background and the party policies and later questions from the floor were answered with some brisk rhetoric.
This is an important election, why are there only 35 people attending?
Very disappointed at the lack of interest shown by the Gloucester community.
