The team came out strong and although they were not utilising their spaces as well as they could have, they certainly kept pressure on the Taree Tigers strongly for the first quarter. A miss hit from the Tigers team allowed Callum Howard an opportunity push the ball behind the keeper and over the line for the first goal.
The second quarter got a little sloppier for the team as they were a little out of form missing a week off. They were however still in possession of the play enough to maintain pressure. A great solo run from Trevor Bolton from the halves saw the Gloucester team their second goal.
The Tigers increased the pressure in the second half and if it wasn't for some brilliant saves from stand in goal keeper, Dale Tonks, they may have added to their own scoreboard. A final brilliant play off a charge lead by Bruce Snape and Andrew Germon backing up saw the team once again at the goals leaving Harry to pick up a great cross and make a spectacular conversion with the flick of his unorthodox stick work.
The final score, 3-0 and a positive season ahead for the team.
