The day progressed smoothly with students enthusiastically participating in all events in their respective age groups. Students were cheered on by their peers and parents as they attempted personal bests in all events.
New school records were made by Jacob Wright in the 9 years 100 metres, Lilli Zycki in the senior girls discus and Marley Young in the junior girls high jump.
Around 30 students qualified to represent GPS at the Manning zone competition which will be held next term.
A huge thank you to the parents and year 11 sports coaching students from Gloucester High School who worked tirelessly at their stations all day.
