Ladies triples
Last week the ladies played the final of the Triples Championships, between the teams of Joan Ridgeway, Jill Everett and Judy Sheely and Pat Cox, Del Buckton and Bev Germon.

The result was a win for Joan's team, 26-13. Congratulations to all the ladies - an enjoyable game in very pleasant conditions. Also on that day, there were three social games played, with the day's points score being won by Kerry Green and Bonnie Faulkner.
Wednesday will be the first round of the Fours Championships. Good luck to everyone involved.
Men's
Thursday bowls results were Lu Urby, James Davison def Tony Tersteeg, Chris Pritchard 24-19, Kevin Burley, Terry Davies, Terry Carson def Gary Spokes, Steven Higgins, Robbie Bowden 27-19, Terry Higgins, Mike Sheely, Clive Redman def Kevin Everett, Graham Turnbull, John West 25-13, Vic Hebblewhite, Neville Atkins, Jim McIntosh def Rob Heininger, Peter Sansom, Col Beattie 28-25, Andrew Henderson, George Wisemantel, Joe Holstein def John Andrews, Charlie Faulkner, Alec Laurie 31-16.
The semi finals of the triples championships were contested on Sunday with Mark, Phillip and Wayne Groves proving to consistent for Vic Hebblewhitee, Graham Turnbull, George Wisemantel winning 26-16 and Col Hebblewhite, Bruce Wilson, Kevin Baker had a comfortable victory over Jason Cassidy, Phil Walls, Bob Jones 34-22.
The final may be delayed until Sunday July 7 due to players participating in zone events and therefore the first round of the men's fours championships may also be delayed until July 14 but watch the board for further updates from the bowls secretary.
