It was also the monthly stroke round with a putting contest in conjunction. The daily winner was Peter Wildblood with a score of 72 nett. He was followed by Elaine Murray on 74, Tony Burnet on 75, Bill Murray, Jim Dunn and Mark Stone, all on 77, then Roy Crichton on 78.
Nearest the pins went to Elaine Murray and Bert Newman on the 4/13th, and Peter Wildblood on 6/15th. Roy Crichton won the Putting contest with 29 putts and Graham Hjorth took home the stayers award.
Ladies - WGNSW Medal No 3
Wednesday's WGNSW Medal Round No3 was played on a nice sunny day however the course is very dry with plenty of run, hopefully the rain will come soon.
Gloucester Max Value Chemist was the sponsor for the day, thank you so much for your sponsorship it was greatly appreciated. The winner of the day was Cheryl Goodrich who worked at the chemist shop for many years, Cheryl had a nice round to easily win the day with a 68 nett.
Congratulations Cheryl, check your handicap next week. Winner of Division 1 was the consistent Annette Cravino having a 72 nett. Anne Maggs also had a good day winning Division 3 with a 74 nett. Ball winners were Gai Randall 75 nett, Margaret Dunn and Val Smith 76 nett and Jill Carson 78 nett on a countback from Rhonda Nightingale.
