Presented by senior teachers and HSC exam markers, this two-hour 'Ace the HSC' seminar will give students insight into proven strategies on how to answer exam questions most effectively and help students reduce their anxiety to maintain motivation in preparing for the HSC.
It will be held at the University of Newcastle's Newcastle Campus on July 15 at 10am. The information included in the session is relevant to year 11 and 12 students, although year 10 students are most welcome to participate.
The session is part of a larger series of subject-specific lectures run by InspirED: the July Trial Preparation Lectures. The series is based on giving students skills, knowledge and confidence about each subject's syllabus as they go into their final exams.
InspirED Director, Shane Hardcastle said the session has grown to be a huge success,
'We run this as a free service to give as many students as possible support and advice for the final hurdle of high school. The increased numbers we see attending each year is a testament to how valuable students find it," Mr Hardcastle said.
