Kicking off on Wednesday, June 10 in Bega, Mr Johnsen will be among a list of industry experts taking part in the University of Sydney foundation's signature annual event.
In his new minister role as NSW Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture and Resources, Mr Johnsen join the NSW Industry Forum co-hosted by Dairy Connect, Dairy NSW, and the NSW Farmers Association on the first day of the two-day conference.
The dairy industry panel will consist of agricultural opinion leaders from a diverse range of dairy entities, according to Dairy Connect Chief Executive Officer, Shaughn Morgan.
"Through the panel's knowledge and understanding of the sector, it will provide an in-depth overview of dairy production challenges and opportunities in 2019-20," Mr Morgan said.
"A pro-active Q&A session will ensure that delegates have access to the best responses to issues and challenges confronting dairy production and regional communities that rely on dairying."
The industry panel will also include Dr Helen Golder who graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, majoring in Livestock Science in 2008 and honours in Animal Science in 2009 from the University of Adelaide.
Fellow panelists include Dairy Research Foundation chair Michael Perich and University of Sydney Professor of Dairy Science Yani Garcia.
The session will be facilitated by Annabel Johnsen, Policy Director - Livestock, NSW Farmers Association.
