Forecast for the rest of Friday (July 12) are sunny skies with a zero percent chance of rain. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h tending west to northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h in the middle of the day then decreasing to 15 to 25 km/h in the evening. Temperatures predicted to reach 20 degrees.

There is a very slight chance of rain predicted for Saturday morning (July 13) with partly cloudy skies. Winds northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h turning westerly 30 to 45 km/h during the morning. Temperatures expected to reach a top of 18 degrees with a low of 9 degrees.

Similar daytime temperatures expected for Sunday (July 14) with a top of 17 degrees after the morning frost lifts from the highlands. Sunny skies are expected to provide a zero percent chance of rain. Winds westerly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light during the morning then becoming westerly 15 to 20 km/h during the afternoon. Sunday is expected to see a temperature low of 3 degrees.

If you're planning to head up to the Barrington Tops, expect very windy conditions both Friday and Saturday with temperatures predicted to reach 7 or 8 degrees. There's a 50 per cent chance of a shower or two on Saturday with the possibly falling as snow above 1300 metres. Brace for a brisk Sunday with sunny skies bringing a chilling top temperature of 4 degrees and a low of minus 2.
