A cold front is set to sweep the Upper Hunter this weekend, bringing with it a light dusting of snow at Barrington Tops.

According to Bureau of Meteorology, cold air will reach the area overnight on Friday and hang around until Saturday.
With it comes an expected dusting of snow. Snow is set to fall at heights above 1100 metres.
Just to add to the chill factor, winds will be west to northwesterly at 25 to 40 kilometres per hour.
Overnight temperatures on Friday are expected to fall between three and seven degrees.
Maximum daytime temperatures will reach just three degrees on Saturday and two degrees on Sunday.
Overnight temperatures on Sunday will be minus one degrees.
So if you're heading up to the tops to check out the snow, be sure to rug up.
Possible showers are predicted for most of the area from Friday to the end of the weekend. There's also a chance of thunderstorms.
At Gloucester, expect windy conditions with daytime temperatures to sit about 17 degrees across the weekend.
Partly cloudy conditions with a top of six degrees will greet residents and 'snow-goers' for the start of the working week.
