Her support and service to the association is unmatched. Effie has been a member for more than 20 years, committee member for 11 years and treasurer for four years.
She also holds a judge and demonstrators badge and was one of the foundation members of Gloucester Floral Art Group.
Over the years, Effie's service has included organisation of floral designs and designers for displays, festivals, shows and fundraisers in the local community.
Back in 2014, Effie picked up the rare and prestigious Ann Williams Clark Medallion. She received the medallion for long and outstanding service to the Gloucester club.
Gloucester Floral Art Group meets on the third Tuesday of every month at the home of Ann Mullen on Queen Street, Gloucester.
With the help and guidance of Margaret Higgins, the group hold workshops and demonstrations. Everyone is most welcome.
