The wind was horrendous, with the Tall Timbers handling it better than Gloucester.
Ourimbah scored first for a 4-0 lead before Magpies halfback Luke Handsacker produced a brilliant chip and chase to post the side's first points. He converted to put the Magpies in front by two points.
After some torrid defence, Gloucester finally cracked and Ourimbah scored and converted to lead 10-6.
Soon after, Dave Morgan burst through for the Magpies and scored after a 30 metre run. The try wasn't converted so the game remained tied.
The arm-wrestle continued until two costly errors were capitalised on by Tall Timbers.
The side scored twice to take a 22-10 lead into halftime. Windy conditions continued after the break.
Gloucester barged over the try line twice but weren't able to get the ball down.
Ourimbah scored two late tries after the Magpies were forced to move the ball under pressure while playing 'catch-up league'.
