Blue and Pink played for the junior title. Blue's been strong all year, however pink started the season slowly but have been getting better and better. Pink was in the lead for most of the game, but Blue fought hard bring the game back to 18 all and 3/4 time. In a tense last quarter, Blue's shooters held their nerve adding 7 goals with Pink only able to net 3. The final score a close 25-21. Well done to all players. A huge thank you to our junior coaches who took on the responsibility of guiding our younger players. The club appreciates you stepping forward and we hope you enjoyed the season.
The intermediate match saw the Blue and White teams playing for the top position. Unfortunately, we had three players unavailable, meaning two girls played as floaters for the game. Thank you to Danielle Channon and Ella Howe for filling in. It would have been disappointing to see the teams play with six players on the court. It was a close game for the first half of the match with the scores tied at half time at 16 all. It was a very windy morning which made shooting in the blustery conditions difficult. Blue were only able to net 5 goals in the third quarter with White adding 16 to the scoreboard giving them a solid lead heading into the last quarter. White held on for the final quarter securing the win. The final score was 48-28 to White.
