Mission Australia is hosting a 'speed networking' event for community service providers, health services, legal organisations, and other related groups in the Gloucester region.

The event is due to take place on Tuesday, September 17 at the Gloucester Soldiers Club from 10am until 1pm.
It's planned to be a fun and innovative way for service providers to get to know each other, build connections, and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
Mission Australia Program Manger Bree Katsamangos said the event will be a great opportunity for organisations to find new ways to work together in providing services to the community.
"Regional and rural communities have unique challenges and service provision can be limited in small communities like Gloucester," Bree said.
"This means we need to use the resources we have effectively - and collaboration and partnership are a key part of this.
"Having the opportunity to come together with other service providers, learn more about their services and identify key points of alignment is essential to a well-functioning support system for the Gloucester community," she said.
Project officer for Family Law Pathways Network Lisa Harris said the event will give Gloucester services the contacts they need to provide the best possible supports for their clients.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for services to come together and learn where they can refer clients for specific types of assistance," Lyn explained.
"From a legal perspective, lawyers can learn where to send their clients to get the support they need when going through separation or other family issues. It is great to be a part of such a terrific initiative to network across services in the Gloucester region."
The speed networking event will include a number of engaging activities to help groups get to know each other, and look at ways they can work together.
To begin, each participating organisation will be given two minutes to present their service to the group.
This will be followed by a finger-food lunch, where participants can talk with other organisations about the work that they do, and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
