Established in October 1919, the school's reached its centenary and is inviting the community to a celebration on Saturday, October 26. There will be a showcase of its history with visitors able to view the collection of historical items, documents and photographs in the school hall.

When it first opened, it replaced a national school at Telegerry, operating since May, 1860, and a provisional school 'Clareval' at Seven Mile Station, opened in 1884. Stroud Road began with 23 enrolments, with the majority being children of farmers. Currently there are 14 students from kindergarten to year six.

The celebration will take place from 10am on Saturday, October 26 with morning tea, followed by an official ceremony consisting of student performances and key note speeches at midday, with lunch to follow.
