Around 70 juniors and 30 adults competed for prize money in their homemade billy carts, cheered on by a large crowd.

The hilly course was busy for hours as eager drivers pushed their home crafted racers to the limits.

Practice runs were followed by an afternoon of racing with the children's enthusiasm never waning.
