Come along and join like-minded bird enthusiasts and people just interested in the local environment for an evening of learning all about birds of the Gloucester Tops area.
Hunter Local Land Services is hosting an information session in Gloucester on Monday, October 28 with presenter Dr Alan Stuart from the Hunter Bird Observers Club.
Dr Stuart said the evening will focus on the amazing diversity of birds in the Gloucester Tops area.
"You will hear about some interesting local research in your own backyard ,including the use of a song meter to identify birds," Dr Stuart explained.
"You'll also find out how you could be part of the effort to survey and help save local endangered species."
The event is being held at the Gloucester Soldiers Club on Monday, October 28 from 6pm.
A light dinner will be provided and bookings are essential to reserve your place.
