With only five months to go until the big event, preparations are already well underway.
Known as one of the biggest events in the community's calendar, next year's event will be held on Friday, March 27 and Saturday March 28 at Gloucester Showground.
Schedules will soon be printed, so keep your eye out for all the different categories and sections to compete in, with a few new items added to the list.
Check out the jams, jellies and preserve section for some different suggestions for the 2020 competition.
One interesting option is for any jam using herbs, with some suggested combinations being basil and peaches, mint and berries, and thyme and pears. The recipes will be in the schedule.
Another new section is Italian herb salad dressing, with the recipe also in the schedule.
Once off the press, the schedules will be available across a wide range of business throughout town. The booklet will cover off on all the guidelines for the competitions and includes the entry forms.
Closer to the show date, show committee members and volunteers will be available to accept entries and fees.
We look forward to plenty of entries for the 2020 Gloucester Show and seeing you all in the pavilions.
