Sunny skies and little chance of rain across the Gloucester region this weekend.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, sunny skies are forecast for the rest of Friday (October 18) with a zero percent chance of rain. Light winds becoming northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the early afternoon then becoming light in the evening. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 28 degrees.
Sunny skies are predicted to continue into Saturday (October 19) with a very slight chance of rain. Light winds becoming west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning then tending west to southwesterly in the late afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach at high of 31 degrees with a low of 8 degrees.
Sunday (October 20) is also expected to be sunny with a very slight change of rain. Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h tending south to southeasterly during the day then becoming light during the evening. Top temperatures is predicted to reach 24 degrees with a low of 10 degrees.
The UV index is due to reach very high across the weekend with the Bureau recommending sun protection recommended from 9am to 4pm daily.
If you're planning a trip to the Barrington Tops, plan for cooler temperatures with a top of 16 degrees on Friday, 18 degrees on Saturday with a low of 7 degrees, and a top of 13 degrees on Sunday with a low of 4 degrees. Similar winds conditions are predicted for the Tops with very little to no rain expected.
