There was great bowling, fielding and some big hitting including from Mick Shultz who smashed a six onto the grandstand roof.
Batting first, the McClure Magicians got off to a steady start with Paula Edwards scoring 22 runs and Isaac McClure's captain's knock of 32 not out.
This set the scene for some entertaining batting at the end of the innings for a total of 119.
Lucas Summerville was the best of the bowlers with 2/20. In reply, Everett's Easybeats defied their name with again, a captain's knock by Rohan Everett (32 runs) and Dale Tonks (31 runs) put the team in a winning position.
Either team could have won following a shock first ball dismissal at a critical time. But the Everetts took the win on the final ball of the day.
Julius Hollingsworth was the best of the bowlers with 2/17. If you would like to join, contact Rodney at Valley Motors on 65581105 or 65582897.
