The group of 21 students and three teachers spent last week in intense preparation, rehearsing as part of the world's biggest choir, with the event having set the Guinness World Record in 2016.
They took to the stands among the mass choir at the QUDOS Bank Arena in Sydney's Olympic Park for four performances across Friday, November 22 and Saturday, November 23.
Although it wasn't the first time Gloucester Public teacher Susie McLeod had taken students to the event, it was no less exciting.
"Our time went incredibly well and our team of students performed beautifully," Susie said.
"All our parents/carers were able to attend performances and see the scale, professionalism and pure quality of the show and just how well all the pieces of Schools Spectacular came together to create a truly spectacular event."
It was the first time, however, for Barrington Public School students to take part, with teacher Kate Radford leading the charge.
"I'm so proud of all the kids and very thankful for their dedicated parents," Kate said.
"We had an amazing experience that will be looked back on fondly."
Before this massive week of rehearsing at the arena, the students have been dedicated to learning all the songs, getting together to practise twice a week at school since the start of the school term. But they're not just expected to sing, they also to learn the movements that go along with it.
The show was a colourful kaleidoscope of music from pop and hip hop to the classics, from a crescendo of massed voices to stunning solos, and a full spectrum of dance styles.
With most regional performers in the 2700-voice choir and regional dance troupe coming together the day before the first show, it was time to swallow the butterflies and prioritise practice.
Each regional performer is part of the enviable tradition which has been bringing together many of the State's finest emerging performers for 36 years.
