Plans are underway to hold the event at the Gloucester Lions Park on Saturday, December 7 from 10am until 2pm.
Along with a range of stallholders, there will be activities for the children and some festive musical entertainment, as well as the ever-popular 'chocolate wheel', which raffles of Christmas hams.
The club's event coordinator, Kieren Moore said the club has decided to start the annual carnival tradition as a way of increasing its support within the community.
"The Apex Christmas Carnival was one of my favourite things when I was a kid and I wanted to help make it available for the younger generation, but also for everyone in the community to enjoy," he said. "I think it's such an important thing for the community."
Holding the Christmas fair at the Lions park, located in Gloucester District Park between the Number One Oval and the Thunderbolts Way, is also way of highlighting to the community where the facilities are, which includes free barbecues, and that they're available for everyone to use.
Also attending the event, will be the big man in red, Santa, with opportunities for people to get their photo taken with him.
The club is still accepting stallholders, if interested contact Kieren on 0419937638 or Kierengloucesterlions@gmail.com.
