A high chance of rain and a few thunderstorms are predicted over the weekend across the Gloucester region.

Areas of smoke haze and the chance of a thunderstorm during in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures to reach the top of 33 degrees with a high fire danger rating.

There is a high chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening, and the chance of a thunderstorm predicted to bring between 3mm and 8mm of rain. Winds north to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending north to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h early in the morning. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 34 degrees with a low of 18 degrees.
The chance of rain will decrease to slight on Sunday (December 1) with the chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies with possible smoke haze. Winds northwest to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h tending northeast to southeasterly during the day then tending northwest to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h during the evening. Temperatures to reach a top of 31 degrees with a low of 15 degrees.
If you're heading to Barrington Tops, you can expect similar conditions with lower temperatures and a bit more rain predicted. Friday is expected to reach at top of 22 degrees, with Saturday much the same with a top of 23 degrees and a low of 16 degrees. Saturday's rain prediction is high with a possible 8mm to 10mm expected to fall. Sunday is predicted to reach at top of 19 degrees with a low of 11 degrees.
