The eight-week program will run each Friday at Nabiac Park (behind the primary school) from 6-7pm.
Open to kids aged six to 14, the program is designed to introduce boys and girls to rugby union and equip them with the skills and confidence to enjoy the game.
Under-10s, 12s and 14s will also be given the opportunity to take part in a competition after an initial three weeks of training and establishing teams.
More than 70 kids took part in the program in 2019, but Lower Mid North Coast junior rugby coordinator, Aaron Dodds, believed that number would increase significantly this year after a strong response to the Come Try Rugby days that were held in January.
The cost of the program is $45, which includes shorts, socks and a training shirt for every child.
The program will run until April 3.
