Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Girvan, south east of Stroud, on Wednesday (March 25) after reports of a farm accident.

Around 3pm, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter responded to a call that a man had been injured after farm equipment fell on him at a Girvan property.
It's reported that a 79-year-old man sustained a serious fractured leg in the accident.
He was treated on scene by ASNSW paramedics and the helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to being flown to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
The patient was in a stable condition.
