Ladies golf
Wednesday was a beautiful day for golf with seven keen ladies turning up to play the stableford event. The new rules were in force, only one person per cart and no holding the flag and everyone having to keep their distance from each other.

It was nice to have Annette Cravino back at golf and also good to have Di Pritchard with us and pleased to see her mobile again.
The winner of the day was Annette Cravino with 31 points. Congratulations Annette the spell must have been good for you, the runner-up was Ev Blanch with 27 points.
The Seniors Tournament which was to be held at Woolgoolgo in May has been cancelled and Wauchope Open Day has been postponed until a later date.
Veterans golf
Last week's veterans golf was the monthly stroke round, with a putting competition in conjunction. Glynn Reece was the sponsor for the day.
Chris Pritchard continued his recent good form to win the day with a score of 73 nett, in a countback from Phil Hawkins. The other ball winners were Mark Stone, Bruce Fraser and Roy Crichton on 75 nett, Bill Murray and Bert Newman on 77 and Jim Dunn on 80.
Roy Crichton mastered the greens that had been cored only the day before to take the putting comp with an excellent total of only 28 putts for the 18 holes.
Sunday target shoot
Gloucester Rifle Club
In fine conditions on Sunday March 22, at 300 metres in standard fullbore Steve Pennicuik posted a sizzling 95.5/100 and in free-class fullbore Stuart Kerr materialised an absolutely smashing 119.6/120, chased hard by Daniel Maurer on a ripping 109.6 and Alisha Christensen on a fine 92.1 following a difficult first down, and in 25 metre rimfire Laurie Smith posted a ripping 243/250.
Due to coronavirus concerns the NSW Rifle Association has required all affiliated clubs and rifle-ranges to be closed until further notice, so no club activities will be possible for some time. Visitors would normally be very welcome on shoot days, but at this time enquiries regarding club activities and firearms licensing should be made to Steve Pennicuik on 65582087.
Unfortunately the next Longarms Firearms Licensing Course planned for Saturday, April 11 has had to be postponed to a date to be determined.
