A man was injured in a motorcycle accident at Giro, north west of Gloucester on Sunday (July 12).

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the region just after noon to attend an accident between a truck and a motorbike on Thunderbolts Way at Giro.
It's reported that the 57-year-old male motorcyle rider glanced off the side of the large truck and hit the guard rail.
ASNSW paramedics and the helicopter Critical Care Medical Team treated the man at the scene. He was then airlifted in a stable condition to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle with pelvic injuries.
