Veterans golf strong on the fairway
Last week, the Gloucester Veterans Golf Club played an individual stableford match for a trophy donated by David and Maureen Hjorth. We also played the annual round for the Edley Anderson Shield.

The winner was Mark Howland with a score of 37 points. The runner up was Ele Fraser with a score of 35. Balls were won by Mark Stone and Bob Kirkup (34), Jim Dunn, Derek Bardwell, Bruce Fraser and Chris Pritchard on 30.
The future for the club and the veterans is looking good, the following players have joined our ranks in the last week or two: Steve Hurwurth, Gary Peters, Steve Kriss, Phil Peterson, Michael Howard and Dave Salmon.
