According to the Bureau of Meteorology, partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain are forecast for the rest of Friday (July 31). Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the late afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 17 degrees. If you're planning to head to the coast, large and powerful surf conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, swimming and surfing.
Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Saturday (August 1) with areas of morning frost on higher ground and light winds. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 20 degrees and drop down to 3 degrees.
Sunday (August 2) is expected to have sunny skies and light winds. Temperatures are predicted to reach a top of 21 degrees with a chilling low of 1 degree.
If you're planning on heading up to Barrington Tops, expect similar conditions with colder daytime temperatures. Friday is expected to reach a top of 5 degrees, while Saturday should reach a top of 10 degrees with a low of zero. Sunday should be a little warmer with a top of 11 degrees and a low of 1 degree.
