Plenty of action on the soccer pitch

The latest results from the Gloucester Soccer Club competition held on Saturday (August 1).

LMD Building Supplies Division 4:

Ollies Service Centre vs Bucketts Building Supplies - Ollies were down a few players this week, a great game to watch, there is a lot of team play which is great to see.

Woolworths v Webbs - this was a good close game, Webbs showed great defence from all players, everyone is working well as a team and learning to pass the ball more.

Bucketts Building Supplies Division 3:

Annie McKee vs Stroud Coin Laundry - A strong start from both teams. Jarrod Plater score the first goal for Annie McKee, after half time Aidan Blows scored our second goal with Chay Harris netting the third goal. A great, hard game, great sportsmanship shown but most importantly everyone had fun. Final score Annie McKee 3, Stroud Coin Laundry 4.

Water & Tipper vs Gloss-Ter CarWash - A great team effort from Water & Tipper, we are starting to see improvements in communication, we still need to work on our game positions and supporting each other but a great effort from Water & Tipper. Gloss-Ter CarWash played a great game in good spirit. Goals for Water & Tipper - Lucas Rayner 2, William Coombe 1. Goals for Gloss-Ter CarWash - Ajay Joliffe 2, Cruiz Genoli 1, Eli Soupidis 1 Half time had the game tied at 2 all. Final score Gloss-Ter CarWash 4, Water & Tipper 3.

Gloucester Farmers Market Division 2:

Bellbird Quarries vs Woolworths - A great game, great teamwork. Final score Bellbird Quarries 8, Woolworths 5. Justin Boorer scored 7 goals, Fineas Wilson 1 goal for Bellbird Quarries. Goals for Woolworths Matthew Woods 2, Christopher Bolton 1, Andrew Fraser 1, Albie Cameron 1.

Stroud Pharmacy vs Gloucester Farmers Markets - The score didn't reflect the closeness of the game. Gloucester Farmers Markets difference was their positioning and passing ability. Final score 5 goals to 0 to Farmers Markets. Goals for Farmers Markets, Jali Wilson 2, Phineas Hester 1, Thomas Coombe 1, Samuel Wilson 1.

R & R Property Division 1:

It was a fantastic game from both teams, great commitment in defense and some good saves from the goalies. Accommodation Gloucester's Blake Walker and Riley Marsh had great games. Bucketts Buildings Cameron Badham was on fire toady up front and was supported well through the middle by Lucas Pope and Emily Marsh. Emily George was solid in the back. A very entertaining game. Bucketts Buildings goals came from Caleb Vanderdrift 3, Cameron Badham 3. Accommodations Gloucesters Hayden Vanderdrift 2, Jack Yarnold 1, Bethany Hester 1. Final score Bucketts Building 6 goals to Accommodation Gloucester 4.
