The club prides itself on being at the heart of the local community and an icon in town since 1952.
As club life continues to advance and evolve, it is more important than ever for the Gloucester Soldiers Club to progress too.
To be sure the valued members have a voice in the future direction of the club, board of director nominations are now open.
The club is looking for aspiring directors to bring a diverse range of skill sets and backgrounds.
The fundamental requirements and attitudes that make for a suitable director are simple - personal motivation, business minded, community focused and great interpersonal skills.
Eight positions are required - three of these positions will be for a three-year term and five at a one-year term.
Becoming a director can be rewarding both personally and professionally and club secretary manager, Anthony Hughes is enthusiastic about the direction the club is heading in.
"Our club's board plays a vital role in ensuring the increasing future success of our club," Anthony said. "Nominations are now open for proactive and versatile team players with new ideas, a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to be a proud ambassador of the club."
Nomination forms are available from the secretary manager's office during office hours and applications close on Friday, August 28 at 5pm.
All nominees will need to be a financial member of the club and over 18 years of age.
