On Wednesday, in glorious weather, the ladies bowled the final of the Pairs Championships between Margaret Andrews and Jill Everett (sub for Val Pritchard) and Jenny Burley and Di Lockwood.

The result was a win for Margaret's team, 25-11. Congratulations to the winners.
There were also three social games played with the following results:
Joan Ridgeway, Pat West and Denise Redman defeated Bev Murray, Kerrie Green and Ruth Redman (19-16), Pat Cox and Norma Relf defeated Jean Holstein and June Carter (19-14) and Del Buckton and Di Pritchard defeated Bev Germon and Lorraine Ratcliffe (21-15).
The day's play was followed by an 80th birthday lunch given in honour of Jan Jones, which was greatly enjoyed by all.
