According to the Bureau of Meteorology, a very high chance of rain is forecast for the rest of Friday (August 14). There is a chance of a thunderstorm, most likely late this afternoon and evening. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the early afternoon then becoming north to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 23 degrees with a low of 10 degrees.
Morning fog is predicted for Saturday (August 15) with partly cloudy skies. There is a high chance of a shower or two most likely in the morning and the chance of a thunderstorm in the late morning and afternoon. Winds northwest to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h tending westerly early in the morning. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 22 degrees with a low of 8 degrees.
The clouds should start to clear on Sunday (August 16) with mostly sunny skies and the slight chance of a shower. Light winds becoming west to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h during the day then becoming light during the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 22 degrees with a low of 6 degrees.
If you're planning on heading to Barrington Tops, you can expect similar conditions with much lower temperatures. Friday is expected to reach a top of 12 degrees with a low of 6 degrees, Saturday is only expected to reach a top of 9 degrees with a low of 4 degrees, while Sunday is predicted to reach a top of 8 degrees with a low of 3 degrees.
