Committee members had their hearts set on raising money to purchase new classroom resources and much needed "loose play" playground equipment and to turn the dream into reality, they launched the inaugural "We Love Local Monster Raffle".
Forty three generous local businesses donated more than $4000 worth of prizes ranging from accommodation, house cleaning, lawn service, gift hampers and a variety of vouchers that will be perfect leading up to Christmas.
P and F president, Bindi Ahern is excited the school is able to hold a COVID-safe major fundraiser.
"We really didn't want the students missing out on new resources and the play equipment that the committee was planning on buying for them," Bindi said.
"To be honest we were completely amazed and humbled by the generosity of so many businesses readily offering donations to support our little school, especially considering they have had drought, bushfires and COVID to navigate.
"We are so lucky to live in such a thoughtful and caring community - a big thank you to each and every local business that has supported us."
Tickets are still on sale at the school's office and Mac's Boots. Direct deposit payment is also available - call the school on 65581 555 for more information. The winners will be drawn by the students on Friday, October 16.
