According to the Bureau of Meteorology, there is the possibility of a shower or a thunderstorm forecast for the rest of Friday (October 16) in the afternoon and early evening. Light winds becoming south to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 29 degrees with a low of 14 degrees. The fire danger rating is high.
Saturday (October 17) may see early morning fog with partly cloudy skies throughout the day. There is a very slight chance of rain. Light winds becoming northwest to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day. Temperatures are expected to reach a top of 33 degrees with a low of 17 degrees.
The chance of showers increases to 90 per cent on Sunday (October 18) with a possible rainfall between 6mm and 15mm. Cloudy skies are predicted with the chance of a thunderstorm. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h during the morning then becoming light during the evening. Temperatures are expected to reach a top 26 degrees with a low of 13 degrees.
If you're planning on heading to the Barrington Tops, you can expect similar conditions with lower temperatures and a greater chance of more rain. Friday is expected to reach a top of 19 degrees with a low of 9 degrees. Saturday has a slightly higher chance of rain with the top temperature predicted to be 20 degrees with a low of 11 degrees. Sunday has a higher possible rainfall of 10mm to 20mm with temperatures expected to reach a top of 14 degrees and a low of 6 degrees.
