Gloucester's second grade cricketers are all alone at the foot of the competition ladder when beaten by Wingham in the game at Central Park Wingham.

The Bushmen have yet to win a game from three starts this season.

Gloucester won the toss and elected to bat.

However, the Wingham bowlers enjoyed the overcast conditions to restrict Gloucester to just 123.

Jye Barkwill struck early for Gloucester in the run chase when he dismissed Wingham opener Ryan Morris for a duck.

Brett Radford claimed a second early wicket to have Wingham struggling at 2/5.

However, Gloucester didn't have enough runs in the bank and Wingham lost six wickets in the run chase.

Gloucester will host premiers Great Lakes on Saturday.
