Not only are they back on stage, but they are once again putting on a performance like nothing they've ever done before.
The production is simply named 'You'll like it', and according to director, Mo Hjorth it's a promise the players expect to keep.
"It's an eclectic mix of short plays and skits," Mo explained. "Not one is like the next. They are all different."
With COVID, the group had to cancel its May production but since the easing of restrictions, they have been back hard at work rehearsing for their November spot.
This group of community thespians is determined to continually redefine themselves and this production is no exception.
"It offers a range of content and storylines that are unique, interesting and, of course, a bit funny," Mo said.
She challenges the audience to " come and see where your humour lies."
Due to the COVID situation, the seating is limited. To help ensure everyone gets a chance to come out and see the show, the players have opted to put on an extra performance. There will be COVID-safe rules in place for each show.
The show takes place at the Gloucester Citizens Centre 30 Hume Street.
The performance dates are: Thursday evening, November 26 doors open at 7pm; Friday evening, November 27 opens open at 7pm, Saturday matinee doors open at 12:30pm and Saturday evening doors open at 7pm. Tickets cost $20 for non-members and $15 for GACCI members and can be purchased at Uptown Country, 23 Denison Street.
