Gloucester Thunderbolts Swimming Club's Kaitlin Perry secured seven silver medals and one bronze medal at the Swimming North Coast division one championships at Banora Point last weekend.

She claimed silver in the under 10 girls multi age 50m butterfly, 100m breastroke, 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m freestyle, 50m breastroke and 50 metre backstroke and bronze in multi age 200m IM. Kaitlin also recorded five new personal best times and broke another three Thunderbolts records.
To top it off, Kaitlin was named 10 years girls runner-up champion.
For her outstanding efforts, Gloucester Thunderbolts finished 19th in the combined team score ahead of Bellingen, Wauchope, Woolgoolga and Mullumbimby.
Taree Torpedoes just finished ahead of Gloucester on 288 points. Forster was the best of the Mid Coast clubs, finishing 8th on 1731 points.
Coffs Harbour dominated and topped the list with 6217, ahead of Trinity Lismore, Alstonville and Port Macquarie.
