It is amazing how many people are willing to put their hand up when it comes to making these kinds of days run so smoothly.
A big thank you to the following people: Bill Murray and Capt Roy Crichton for starting the field and getting every one of the 97 starters away on time.
They also wrote the board up and compiled the results at the days end.
Ellie Fraser and matriarch Madge Bowden for cooking lunch for the hungry hoards - mighty effort! Kerry Bowden and her band of drinks waiters for keeping everyone lubricated.
Pete Markey and Rob Moore for providing the transport for the drinks.
Cassie and Megan behind the bar who worked tirelessly for hours on end to keep the beverages flowing. Thanks girls - you are so good at your jobs and we really appreciate you.
Wayne Maddalena for taking the day off golf to help out in all areas. Lastly to Rossi and Don for providing a magnificently manicured golf course for all to enjoy .
For the first time in many years Glenn Wright's team didn't win.
