Gloucester Police Senior Constable Scott Chester has again officially welcomed Christmas to Gloucester.

Each year Scott goes to ever increasing complexity with his Christmas light decorations.

Hundreds of lights adorn the police officer's residence and show that Gloucester is indeed ready for Santa to find all the good boys and girls and make sure they have a gift.

If you have family visiting or just need to get into the Christmas spirit after such a complex year go for a drive and check out the display on the Northern end of Ravenshaw Street just over the Queen Street crossing.

On your way stop and take a walk through the Anglican Church display also on Ravenshaw Street, with moving dioramas featuring many Christmas icons as well as an amazing Thomas the Tank Engine moving and turning on tracks.

Every kid will love the effort that has been put into these two displays.

Merry Christmas.
