Barrington hosts the Manning West small schools swimming carnival

Barrington Public School hosted another successful Manning West small schools swimming carnival in Gloucester.

Students from Coolongolook, Bungwahl, Krambach and Stratford joined BPS for a fun and competitive day at Gloucester pool on Friday February 12.

It was a great event, with everyone putting in their best effort and coming away with some impressive results.

Several students qualified for the Manning PSSA Zone Swimming Carnival at Taree on Wednesday, February 17, with 10 swimmers from Barrington alone.

The top swimmers at the 2021 Manning West small schools swimming carnival were:

Senior Girl Champion - Chloe Roberts (Coolongolook); runner up: Rubi Tull (Barrington)

Senior Boy Champion - Thomas Coombe (Barrington); runner up: Kalen Smillie (Coolongolook)

11 years Girl Champion - Frankie Leahy (Bungwahl); runner up: Jayde Roberts (Coolongolook)

11 years Boy Champion - Louis Want (Barrington); runner up: Jesse Chapman (Coolongolook)

Junior Girl Champion - Saige Partridge (Barrington); runner up Joslyn Kilby (Barrington)

Junior Boy Champion - Charlie Coombe (Barrington); runner up: William Coombe (Barrington)

Overall winning school was Coolongolook with Barrington taking home second place.
