She has once again run another successful boutique running event in Gloucester and has her heart set on a big one - 10 marathons in 10 days.
On March 6, she held the March Bucketts Marathon Event at the Gloucester Showground.
It was another great turnout with 25 runners competing in the marathon, half marathon and 1/4 marathon events.
"People once again travelled from all over to be here including the south coast, Newcastle, Dungog and Taree." Kaz said.
"There were participants of all ages and abilities taking on the looped course at the showground, with lights turned on at 8pm for those running the 42.2k and not finishing till late."
Kaz can been seen running solo around the streets of Gloucester on a nearly daily basis as her passion for running goes far beyond the boutique events she organises. But the events offer her an opportunity to share that passion with others.
"The biggest positive was having women marathon runners running alongside me and enjoying the big challenge," she said.
Her next event, the Oz Bucketts Challenge, promises to be even bigger.
It's all about running 10 marathons everyday for 10 days straight. The event is set to kick of on Saturday March 27 (weather permitting). At the time of publication, the Gloucester Showground had recently been inundated with flood waters and access to Gloucester had also been impacted.
If the event proceeds, the seven to 12 participants will turn up each morning at 6am and start running the looped course. Each person will run a marathon distance of 42.2 kilometres each day for 10 days finishing up on April 6. The run can take up to eight hours, which is the official cut off time for participants.
"This event has never been run in NSW - it's a first," Kaz said.
These types of events are Kaz's specialty having run several variations of consecutive events in the past.
