Last Wednesday, the Gloucester Women's Bowling Club's grades 4 and 5 pennant teams both played at home, with a win for both sides.

Grade 4 against Harrington:
Joan Ridgeway, Jill Everett, Bev Germon and Jenny Burley won 21-15 and Jean Holstein, Bev Murray, Del Buckton and Judy Sheely (sub) lost 18-15. It was a very close game with Gloucester winning overall 36-33 points, giving them 4 points.
Grade 5 against Tuncurry Sporties:
Kerrie Green, Val Pritchard, June Carter and Jan Jones won 28-15 and Di Pritchard, Cheryl West, Di Lockwood and Julie Kriss (sub) won 33-10. Teams were slow to start, but soon got their eye in and romped away with a resounding overall 61-25 points, giving them 5 points.
On the Friday, grade 5 played a home match against Blackhead, with the following result:
Di Pritchard, Cheryl West, Judy Sheely and Di Lockwood won 25-14 and Kerrie Green, Val Pritchard, June Carter and Jan Jones lost 20-15, giving them a win - 45-20 points overall. (4 points towards the flag).
On Wednesday May 5, grade 5 are at home to Harrington and grade 4 will be finishing a game they had to abandon due to heavy rain the previous week (three ends only) against Tuncurry Sporties.
